Nomads go four clear in Manx Shield

Holders take control

Holders Southern Nomads moved four clear at the top of the Shimmin Wilson Manx Shield standings with a 45-5 win against Emerging Nomads.

Gerard Landels picked up two for Southern Nomads with other tries coming from Josh Bowman, Jacob Callow, George Callister, Greg Danes and Jack Emerson.

Skipper Mark Young added five conversions.

John Ali went over for the Emerging Nomads try.

The result leaves Nomads clearly in the driving seat, although they still have to face Vagabonds B twice in their remaining fixtures.
