Nomads and Ramsey B through in BSM Cup and Plate

Southern Nomads and Ramsey B both moved through the preliminary rounds of the Manx Cup and Plate.

Nomads eased past Castletown 41-14 at Poulsom Park, while Ramsey were handed a walkover against Vagabonds B at Mooragh Park.

With Vagabonds B unable to field a team, their prelim round game against Ramsey was conceded and the game played as a friendly which Ramsey won 39-18.

Daryn Thompson and Peter Wilson both scored two tries with Ramsey’s other tries coming from Stu McConnell, Tynan Pritchard and Josh Carine.

Vagas’ tries both came from Simon Hirtenstein with the rest of their haul coming from the boot of Michael Oates.
