No Athletics relay this year

Athletics missing from Boxing Day sport

There is no Athletics event this Boxing Day.

The SCS Relay at Lonan, which replaced the long-running Millennium Way Relay, is absent from the festive sport for the first time in many years.

Organisers Manx Harriers are looking to put a new event on over the same course at Ballannette in the spring.

They are also examining ideas for a new fun relay during the Christmas holiday next year.
