Evening programme will see roads close at 6pm
The second qualifying session of the 2023 Manx Grand Prix is scheduled to take place this evening (22 August).
After the first practice was held on Sunday (20 August), yesterday's schedule was called off due to low-lying cloud over the mountain section of the Snaefell Mountain Course.
This evening, roads around the course are due to close at 6pm with Senior MGP and Classic Superbike machines heading out at 6.30pm.
That'll be followed by the Junior MGP, Lightweight MGP and Classic Senior classes at 7.15pm - roads are then due to open around the course no later than 9pm.
Elsewhere, MGP organisers have announced there will now be two qualifying sessions tomorrow (23 August) following the cancellation of Monday's programme.
On Wednesday, roads around the course will close at 12.30pm with Senior MGP and Classic Superbike qualifying from 1pm before Junior MGP, Lightweight MGP and Classic Senior machines at 2.25pm before roads open no later than 4.30pm.
Highways on the course will then shut again that day at 6pm for two more qualifying runs before reopening again no later than 9pm.
