New trail race for South Barrule plantation

Event to take place today (24 Nov)

A new trail race is taking place in the south of the Island this morning.

Held in South Barrule Plantation, the Coffee Cottage Trail Race starts at 10am.

It's being hosted by Manx Harriers, and offers a choice of distances - 2km, 5km and 10km - which start and finish in the main car park.

Organisers say no specialist equipment, other than a decent pair of trail running shoes, is required.

There will be a presentation and prize draw in the Coffee Cottage after the races.
