New pavilion planned for two football clubs

Douglas Council submits planning application

Douglas Borough Council has submitted an application to improve changing facilities for two of the region's football teams.

The local authority has applied for planning permission to replace the pavilion used by Pulrose United and Douglas Athletic.

Springfield Road's existing wooden building would be demolished under the proposals.

The council says the current pavilion is in poor condition and needs replacing.
