Island team finish bottom of the competition
The Isle of Man Under-21s national netball team has bowed out of the World Youth Cup Europe qualifiers after sinking defeats at the weekend.
The Manx side lost 63-29 to Republic of Ireland on Saturday (28 September) and then succumbed to a 65-22 defeat to Northern Ireland in their last game on Sunday (30 September).
Three teams were able to progress to the Netball World Youth Cup in Gibraltar in 2025, however, after five defeats the Island team finished bottom of the qualifiers.
Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland finished top three in the standings and have made it to next year's competition.
Isle of Man Netball has thanked the fans that travelled with the team to Cardiff for their support over the week.
