Rams to be joined by mixed squad making its international debut
Two Isle of Man national netball sides are gearing up for an international tournament taking place this weekend.
The Manx Rams and IoM Mixed team are taking part in the World Netball Quad Nations Series being held at Brunel University in London from tomorrow until Sunday (20-22 February).
Furthermore, this will be the first time the Isle of Man has fielded a mixed team at an official international competition.
Four nations will be involved in the series with the Isle of Man set to face teams from France, Malta and Switzerland.
For the Manx Rams, 11 players have been selected with the team to be co-captained by Ashley Hall and Rachel Johnstone - among the other players will be Sarah Long who is in contention to win her first senior cap.
