Final round of season taking place at Jurby today

The final round of this year's Andreas Racing Association (ARA) Championship will take place at Jurby today (14 September).

Multiple titles remain up for grabs and will be decided during the racing action being held across this morning and this afternoon.

Among those going down to the wire are the Solo Centre Championship and Supersport Championship.

ARA Club Secretary, Neal Champion is hoping for some entertaining racing to round out what they say has already been a successful season:

In the Solo Centre Championship, both Jamie Cringle and Rory Parker remain in with a shout of taking top honours.

However, Cringle holds a big advantage with his current points tally of 174 being a full 24 points clear of Parker going into the weekend.

Meanwhile, the gap between the top two in the Supersport Championship is much smaller with just ten points separating championship leader, Kyle Casement (162) and Grant Thomson (152).

It's even closer again in the Post Classic as Michael Evans (150) and Lex Gaval (146) are separated by just four points at the summit.

The other categories which will be decided on the final day are the CB500, Pre-Injection 600 and Novice & Clubman Centre.

Elsewhere, it's been a sensational campaign to date from Francesco Faraldo who has already secured the titles in the Singles, Supertwins & Triples; Singles and Supertwins competitions.

In the Lightweight Championship, Sean Crone has already taken the crown whilst in the Sidecar Centre Driver and Passenger Championships are already in the hands of Ryan Crowe and Callum Crowe respectively.

Dependent on conditions and circumstances, machines are due to be out on circuit today from around 9.30am.

Entry for adults at Jurby will be £6 for adults whilst Under-16's go free.
