More success for Sleight

Record-holding Manx archer wins two titles

Isle of Man archer Lesley Sleight has had a successful time recently, winning two titles.

First, she competed in the IFAA Scottish Indoor Championships held in Linlithgow near Edinburgh.

She won the Ladies' Traditional Recurve Class, and her score was higher than the Men's Scottish Traditional Recurve Champion.

Lesley went on to compete in the IFAA English Indoor Championships held near Bedford, and took the championship title for Ladies Traditional Recurve.

Despite being well down on her personal best Lesley set a National Veteran record for the round and now holds both Ladies' and Veteran English records.
