Injured rider's road to recovery continues
Injured road racer Ivan Lintin has been given more positive news on his road to recovery.
In a post on social media, Lintin said a trip to the hospital yesterday "went very well", as doctors examined the bones in his leg.
The Lincolnshire rider said his leg is "healing correctly now", and that both bones are "knitting together".
It follows news that Lintin had been undergoing speech and language therapy, as his recovery from a major incident at this year's Southern 100 races progresses.
He was discharged from hospital in September - two months after the crash, which also took the life of fellow rider James Cowton.
