MotoGP pays its respects for Manx resident
A minute's silence was held today (9 September) on the start-line at the San Marino Motorcycle Grand Prix in memory of Isle of Man resident Mike Trimby.
The 74-year-old's death was announced on Friday.

He was the founder and chief executive of the International Road Race Teams Association which looks after riders in MotoGP.
He moved to the Island over two decades ago and earlier this year told Manx Radio how he hoped to continue working and of his love for the Isle of Man:
