2024 marks 30 years since seven-time winner's debut
2024 marks a special year for seven-time TT winner Michael Rutter and his family's legacy in racing.
This year marks 30 years since Michael made his debut at the meeting, following in the footsteps of his father Tony Rutter who himself earned seven TT victories during his career.
To celebrate their achievements, the corner known as 'Glen Helen 1' is to be renamed 'Rutters' and a legacy lap will take place next Wednesday.
Ahead of going out for the first session this afternoon (27 May) and seeing the newcomers set off, he recalled his first time out on the course three decades ago:
