Session did not restart due to weather conditions
An Italian rider was flown to Noble's Hospital for treatment following a red flag incident on the opening day of qualifying at the Manx Grand Prix.
Salvatore Sallustro came off his bike at Greeba Bridge on the opening lap of the Sportbike and Junior MGP session yesterday afternoon.
Weather conditions deteriorated following the incident, preventing the session from being restarted.
Tonight, roads around the Mountain Course are due to close at 6pm ahead of Senior and Supersport qualifying at 6.30pm.
Junior MGP and Sportbike qualifying follows at 7.15pm before a Classic TT qualifying lap at 7.50pm.
Roads are due to reopen no later than 9pm.
