MGP 2024: Bonetti to return with Speed Shadows team

Italian competitor once again running Bimota machinery in August

Experienced Snaefell Mountain Course competitor Stefano Bonetti will return once more with the Speed Shadows team for this year's Manx Grand Prix.

The Italian rider will again take to the Classic Superbike race on board the teams Bimota YB4 machinery for next month's meeting.

Having made his TT debut 20 years ago, more recently Bonetti finished 11th during this year's Supertwin TT Race 2 and came home in second in the Classic Senior race at the Manx Grand Prix in 2022.

His best results so far at the TT have been fourth-place finishes in the Supertwin TT Race 2 in 2023 and the Lightweight TT Race in 2018.

President of the Speed Shadows Team Paolo Girotti says due to the success of the team last year their sponsors in 2024 'are united in the desire to further the efforts of the team.'
