McGuinness to ride for Honda at T.T.

Absolute lap record holder and thirteen time winner John McGuinness will ride for Honda at T.T. 2008.

In a posting on the official event website, T.T. and Motorsport Development Manager Paul Phillips states McGuinness will ride a factory Honda Fireblade.

He will also be backed by two Honda Racing technicians with Manager Neil Tuxworth overseeing the effort.

The full details of the team McGuinness will ride for will be announced at the T.T. Press Launch at the end of February.

Honda will also back the Hydrex team with Guy Martin and possibly another rider.

In recent weeks, there has been constant speculation regarding a possible rift between Honda and the T.T. organisers. The matter was even discussed at the this week's question time in Tynwald.
