Leg brace removed after last year's accident
TT icon John McGuinness has taken a major step towards recovery.
The 23-time winner has had his leg brace removed today (Tues 6), following an accident at last year's North West 200.
In a message on Twitter, McGuinness thanked family and friends for their 'amazing support'.
He also wished fellow injured rider Ian Hutchinson well.
Hutchy is missing the Honda test session in Spain as he continues his recovery from a serious injury following a crash at last year's TT.
