Supermac loses iconic lead plate

TT 2017 will bring with it an unusual sight... John McGuinness without his Number 1 Superbike plate.

David Johnson and Norton will instead lead the field away this year.

With the exception of 2013, when he rode as part of the Joey Dunlop tribute, McGuinness has held the prime plate every year since 2011.
