Erika Kelly is now second on Manx ranking list
Manx walker Erika Kelly has just taken a UK national title after only two years in the sport.
Coventry roads were grounds for her to grasp the National 10km Championships title after clocking 48 minutes and 54 seconds on Sunday (30th April).
It moves her up to second on the Manx ranking list - behind Cal Partington, holding the 1995 record at 46 minutes and 25 seconds.
Now a part of the National Centre for Racewalking in Leeds, Erica will take part in June's National 20km Championships.
She wore a ribbon in her hair throughout the race - and explains why:
