Three of the Island's cyclists have been named in the Great Britain squad for the UCI World Track Championships in Poland at the end of the month.
Jonny Bellis, Mark Cavendish and Peter Kennaugh (pictured) are all in the endurance squad, with Cavendish and Kennaugh set to team up in the Madison.
Bellis will ride in the Team Pursuit.
The inclusion of Cavendish in the squad is something of a surprise given that he claimed he was "done with the track" after last year's Olympics.
British Cycling’s performance director, Dave Brailsford, is pleased with the selection: "This has been a winter of experimentation and innovation for the team and our selection of riders reflects that.
"We have a great mix of youth and experience and see Poland as our first step on the road to London 2012."
