Manx riders race up Dakar Rally leaderboard

End of Stage 3 sees McCanney and Knight climb in rankings

Manxman Jamie McCanney is climbing his way up the leaderboard in the Dakar Rally.

At the end of stage 2, he was sat in 19th, while at the end of the third stage, he has climbed up to 14th.

Fellow Manxie David "Knighter" Knight has also clawed his way further up the rankings.

The end of stage 3 sees him in 37th place, seven spots higher than the previous day.
