Manx Gas to sponsor McGuinness

One of the big announcements at Monday's launch party was the news Manx Gas is to sponsor 13 time TT winner John McGuinness at the 2008 meeting.

The Honda-backed effort will be overseen by Clive Padgett and known as Padgett's Manx Gas Racing.

It means the Morecambe Missile will compete in all classes at TT 2008 on the very latest and highest spec Honda machinery.

And former world champions Klaus Klaffenbock and Christian Parser will compete for the team in the sidecar events.
