Roberts secures points victory in Liverpool bout
Manx boxer Danny Roberts won his first professional fight last night.
The 27-year-old light-middleweight was on the undercard for Liverpool fighter Tom Farrell's bout at the city's Echo Arena Auditorium.
Roberts beat Chris Jenkinson on points, in front of a crowd which included around 150 supporters from the Isle of Man.
He signed for the VIP Promotions stable in November last year.
