Lesley Sleight competes for England in Estonia
A Manx archer has taken silver at the World Field Archery Championships.
Representing England at the competition in Estonia, Lesley Sleight came second in the Veteran Traditional Recurve class. Gold went to Schoneich representing Europe.
Over the 5 day event, Lesley had season best scores in both field and animal rounds.
Lesley’s World Record for Adult Field round set in 2019 was beaten by Isler -Fortin from Switzerland. Lesley still holds World Records for the Veteran Field and Hunter Rounds.
Lesley, who is a member of Isle of Man and Bowderyn Vannin Archery Clubs, has thanked Isle of Man Sport and KG Archery for their support.
