Malew have climbed to an impressive early lead in the Macs Builders Merchants Snooker league, after they thumped St Olaves A 5-0 in round four.

Mark 'Postie' Quinn is now four from four - one of just four individuals on that tally - from four different teams.

Finch Hill Rockets sit second after they won 3-2 away at Douglas Snooker Bar Hurricanes.

The Cue Zone Reprobates are now third, with Onchan MHK Rob Callister inspiring a 4-1 win against Peel Legion after he came out of cue sports retirement.

Professional 8-Ball pool player David Addinall is by far the stand-out player in the league, though, with breaks of 69, 57, 40 and 35 en route to winning all of his three frames so far.
