Mount Murray golfer Herman Loubser is 9th after the first two rounds of the English Boys Under-14 Open Championship being held at the North Hants Golf Club.
The youngster, who has already qualified for the matchplay stages of the Isle of Man Senior Golf Championship for the last three years, fired rounds of 73 and 73 for a total of 146.
The leader is French player Antoine Kuoch on 138 with fellow countryman Niklas Lacroix second on 143.
Herman is 9th on the tie-break system going into today's final round.
