Lightning strikes twice for Valkyrs

For the second successive weekend, Valkyrs A were far too strong for Ramsey.

The title challengers followed up last weekend’s 9-1 success with a 7-1 victory.

They were 3-0 up inside the opening quarter of an hour and showed no mercy throughout - Julian Colley, Ollie Webster, Gareth Morris (two), Chris Caldwell (two) and Greg Miller the marksmen.

Sam Moffatt netted the northerners’ consolation.

In the PWC Women’s Premier Division, Bacchas A had far too much for their B team.

Sophie Hudson (three), Carly Craig (two), Sharron Pope (two) and Chelsea Goulding were the scorers in an 8-0 win.
