Corinthians proved lightning can strike twice, defeating Douglas Royal for the second time in just over a week, again via a 1-0 scoreline.

Fresh from their Floodlit Cup triumph a week earlier, the reigning champions again saw off their arch-rivals, this time in the Regency Travel League.

In a match in which Royal dominated possession, it was Corinthians who walked away with maximum points, thanks to Shannon Groves’ 75^th minute strike.

The result sees Corinthians move to the top of the table for the first time this season.
