Rider taking up punditry role as he continues recovery from injury
TT competitor Lee Johnston will not race at this week's North West 200.
The 35-year-old has confirmed he will not contest the event in Northern Ireland as he continues his recovery from a broken leg suffered in testing earlier in the year.
Johnston will still be at the meeting in person, instead taking up a punditry role with BBC Sport NI.
In his latest vlog on his YouTube channel recorded last week, the rider describes it as 'very upsetting' to not be able to compete at the races.
It's not yet clear if he could be fit for the Isle of Man TT Races later this month:
