They saw off St John's 6-3 in a nine-goal thriller at the Bowl.
Joe Walters (2), Tom Murrey, Harry Walters, Stan Manning and Ollie Cain were all on the scoresheet for the Miners.
Kian Brock netted twice for St John's with Jamie Crook also on target but it wasn't enough.
The win moves Laxey three points clear of their opponents at the top of the table.
They also have a game-in-hand on St John's.
