Miners qualify after major scare
Laxey fought back from two goals down to book their place in this season’s Cu-Plas Railway Cup on Saturday.
The Miners set up a semi-final with holders St George’s after clinching their spot in the last four with a 3-2 victory over Ramsey Youth Centre.
St George’s were also in league action and maintained their place at the top of the Canada Life Premier League with a 9-0 home success over Marown.
Peel remain on their heels after thrashing St Mary’s 12-0, while Old Boys put eight past Ramsey.
