Manx Enduro star David Knight could return to competing in the World Championship in 2009.
He won back-to-back World titles in 2005 and 2006 before moving to the United States to contest the Grand National Cross-Country series.
The defending Champion has won four of the opening five rounds in America this year.
Speaking after travelling back to the Island from his latest victory in Tennessee, Knighter says he is getting a better reception from the riders and fans than he did during his first campaign .
