Race walker finishes 40th in European competition
Manx athlete Erika Kelly came up against some of Europe's finest yesterday.
Making her Great Britain debut, she lined up as one of three GB competitors in the women's 20km race at the European Race Walking Cup in Alytus, Lithuania.
She finished in 40th place, in a time of 1:47:58.
Speaking ahead of the race, Erika had said, "The hard work day in, day out is paying off and this has been one of my main aims since day one!"
