New team for Aussie rider
Australian rider David Johnson has teamed up with OMG Racing for the outfit's TT debut in 2020.
Johnson, who made his TT debut in 2010, joins after spending a season with Honda Racing.
He took his maiden podium finish in the Superstock Race in 2019 after a last lap battle with Michael Dunlop.
The 37-year old’s first TT podium in June was followed by his first race victory on the Mountain Course when he won the Superbike Classic TT.
For 2020, OMG will be providing Johnson with BMW S1000RR machinery to contest the Superbike, Superstock and Senior TTs.
