A minute's applause took place ahead of the Laxey v Peel football match took place on Saturday afternoon.
It was a mark of respect for Jamie Haslett, the 19-year old student and Laxey player, who died in tragic circumstances in Sheffield earlier in the week.
Players taking part in this afternoon's fixture stood around the centre-circle and were joined by Jamie's father and two brothers.
