Team says rider also planning Dakar Rally return in 2025
TT competitor James Hillier will ride for a new team at this year's Isle of Man TT Races.
It's been announced the rider from Ringwood will compete for WTF (We're The Future) Racing on their Honda Fireblade machine on both the Snaefell Mountain Course and at the North West 200 this year.
The team is a new setup which is owned and operated by the OMG Racing outfit, describing itself as 'a group of passionate individuals with a highly successful background in many forms of elite two-wheeled racing.'
What's more, WTF Racing says following this year's TT, Hillier will begin training to take part in the 2025 Dakar Rally on a machine to be confirmed in January next year.
The rider contested the gruelling rally for the first time in 2023 and managed to finish the event despite having sustained an injury in the early stages and was the first ever TT winner to participate in the competition.
