James Hillier exploring options for 2025 season

It's after WTF Racing team cancelled its road racing plans for the year

Isle of Man TT competitor James Hillier says he's now exploring options for racing in 2025 following WTF (We're The Future) Racing cancelling all its current road racing plans.

The team announced yesterday (1 April) evening an immediate halt on its road racing schedule - including the Isle of Man TT - due to what it describes as 'significant commercial circumstances beyong the team's control'.

Former TT winner Hillier - who was due to ride for the squad in 2025 alongside Dominic Herbertson - says the news came as a 'big shock'.

In an update to fans on social media today, he's confirmed he's looking at other avenues to take part in the TT and North West 200 this year:

The developments yesterday (1 April) concerning WTF Racing followed only hours after it was confirmed OMG Racing - which owns and operates the WTF Racing setup - was withdrawing from the 2025 Bennetts British Superbike Championship for financial reasons.

Hillier has been part of the WTF team since its inception back in January 2024 and represented them at both the Isle of Man TT Races and North West 200 last year.

Away from the roads, he and the crew also conquered the infamous Dakar Rally back in January this year.

It was the second time the rider's been involved in and completed the mammoth race having become the first TT winner to take part in it back in 2023.
