Island Games Team Draws

The Isle of Man Football and Basketball sides now know who they will face in the group stages of this summer's Natwest Island Games in Aland.

The Men's Football team have been drawn in Group D along with the Falklands, Gotland and the Western Isles.

The Women have avoided the hosts and Gotland who are traditionally the strongest nations. They are in Group B and face Guernsey, Hitra, Isle of Wight and the Western Isles.

In Basketball, the Men will play in Group 1 against Gibraltar and Menorca.

The Women are one of only five teams entered and they play Aland, Gibraltar, Guernsey and Menorca on a round-robin format.

The event takes place between 27th June and 4th July.
