With Douglas’ North One West fixture against Broughton Park postponed and Vagabonds Ladies not yet underway in Womens NC North West 1, there’s just one rugby game on the Island this weekend.
It’s the Isle of Man v Rest of the World at Douglas’ Port-e-Chee ground kicking off at 2pm.
This is the last in a series of pre-season friendlies to which all the Island’s clubs were invited to send players.
Last weekend at Ramsey the two sides put on an entertaining spectacle of running rugby and with potentially more players this weekend, a repeat seems on the cards.
After this game the players will take a week off before the start of the Ravenscroft Manx Trophy and Bowl competitions on 2 October.
