IoM Marathon deadline approaching

The deadline is fast approaching for next month’s Isle of Man 2012 Marathon and Half Marathon.

Race day is Sunday, July 22 with the closing date for entries July 9.

A large number of overseas runners will compete in this year’s event, including from Australia, Singapore, Dubai and Qatar.

Information and a downloadable race entry form are on the marathon website of the Isle of Man Veteran Athletes' Club.

Walkers are welcome to enter either race.

The Half Marathon is considered good training for anyone planning to compete in the End-to-End Walk in September.
