Isle of Man Golf Union Secretary Joe Boyd has been honoured for his Services to Golf at the recent England Golf Partnership Awards evening at Woodhall Spa.
His citation reads - "Joe has now been County Secretary for 10 years, following 5 years as Junior Organiser (both voluntary positions). He has given his life to helping develop golf at all levels and with his continued enthusiasm he has allowed the Isle of Man to provide good, well-organised golf for all. Most recently Joe has been vitally important in helping to create the Isle of Man County Golf Partnership."
