Michael Dunlop turned down a couple of offers from Honda for the 2014 season.
In the end, Honda decided they weren't going to reach an agreement with the eight-time T.T. winner and are now looking at other options.
At present, no riders have signed contracts for next year.
Honda Racing boss Neil Tuxworth says the Japanese giant will compete at T.T. 2014 but no decision has been taken on what name the team will carry.
Tuxworth says it's sad that Michael Dunlop is no longer with them but no rider is bigger than the team:-
