Report by Ben Cunningham:
In the Ladies Premier League, league leaders Castletown A will be hoping they can edge themselves one step closer to the title this weekend when they play Valkyrs A - when these two sides met last in the league Castletown came away with the win.
With relegation looming for Ramsey A they know they need to find points this weekend when they meet Harlequins A who come into this game on a good run of form; finally, Bacchas A and Vikings A will be hoping for better luck when these two sides meet, both coming into this game on the back of a loss last weekend in the league.
In the Men's Premier League, Bacchas A who still remain in top spot face bottom side Valkyrs B who will know that time is running out if they are hoping to stay up... the westerners know points matter now.
Vikings A meet Harlequins A who will definitely try and giving Vikings A a good test but Vikings know that they need full points from this game to keep the pressure on Bacchas at the top of the league; elsewhere, Castletown A meet Valkyrs A in a match that could be very close depending upon availability for both squads.
In Ladies Division One, Valkyrs B play league leaders Castletown B who still remind unbeaten in the league, however Valkyrs B did beat them in the plate semi-final a few weeks ago.
Bacchas B - who have had good season with the results they have been getting - meet Vikings B who will be hoping they can keep to winning ways after a narrow win last weekend; finally, we have a club derby in the south of the island between Castletown C and Castletown D
In Men's Division One, Ramsey A meet Harlequins B - when these two sides met earlier in the league it was the northerners who just edged it.
Vikings B - who are still fighting away at the top of the league for promotion - meet Bacchas C who know relegation is looming if they can’t find anything from this game; Bacchas B - who are also in that fight with Vikings B at the top - face Castletown B who will be happy with how their season has gone challenging with some of the top runners.
In Ladies Division Two, Valkyrs C will be hoping to get back to winning ways they meet Castletown E who narrowly lost out last weekend.
Vikings C meet Bacchas C - both sides coming into this game on the back of wins last weekend; finally, Ramsey B face Harlequins B in a match that could be very close between two very evenly-matched sides.
In Men's Division Two, Bacchas Colts play Vikings C who are pushing for promotion and Castletown C face Valkyrs C who are also in the battle for top spots.
