Entertaining contests played out during finals day at NSC
The ultimate winners of this year's Manx hockey indoor leagues have now been decided.
The final series of hotly-contested ties took place during the indoor finals at the NSC on Saturday evening (10 December).
Vikings A took the Mixed Premiership title with a commanding 12-3 win up against Bacchas A.
Meanwhile, Harlequins A took the crown in Mixed Division One after a thrilling 6-5 win over Vikings C.
The Men's Premiership final went right down to the wire between Bacchas A and Vikings A - after a 6-6 draw in regular time, Bacchas then took victory after beating their opponents 1-0 on penalty strokes.
It was just as close in the final two of the Men's Division One with a 7-7 draw between Vikings B and Bacchas B before Vikings won the tie 2-1 on penalty strokes.
Vikings were victorious in the Ladies Premiership final as their Ladies A squad emerged 7-3 victors over Valkyrs A.
There was also a close-fought contest between Castletown C and Harlequins A in the Ladies Division One contest.
It was the southern club who came away with the winners honours with a 5-4 win.
The Manx Hockey Association is thanking the Isle of Man Hockey Umpires Association and the MHA Board Members for their work in making sure the matches went ahead.
