Report by Ben Cunningham:
In the ladies prem, Valkyrs A who beat Castletown B play Castletown A who lost out last weekend when they played Vikings A; Harlequins A meet Vikings A this weekend with both Vikings and Valkyrs knowing they can’t afford a lost with both sides level on points and Castletown A sitting ready to capitalise if both sides were to drop points.
Finally Bacchas A play Castletown B who know time is running out for them and they need to get some points.
In the men’s prem, Castletown A play Bacchas A in a game both sides will want to get something out of however Bacchas still remain one point behind league leaders Vikings going into this weekend; Harlequins A meet Vikings A this weekend hoping they can give the league leaders a challenge this weekend; Elsewhere Bacchas B who are still looking for points to avoid relegation play Valkyrs A who got back to winning ways last time out.
In ladies division one, league leaders Vikings B meet Valkyrs B who got a good win last time out; Bacchas B play Ramsey B in a game that could be important for both sides who are fighting over the runners up spot in this league and there is a big game at the bottom of the league between Bacchas C and Castletown C who are currently bottom just one point behind Bacchas so a must win game for both sides
In men’s division one, Harlequins B play Ramsey A with the Northerners looking to keep the chase on at the top of the league but Harlequins will be looking to get what ever they can to help them in the relegation battle; Castletown B who just sit above Harlequins in that battle play league leaders Valkyrs B who know they need to keep up their good form that they have had all season; Finally we have a club derby between Vikings B and Vikings C which will be a good close game.
In ladies division two, Vikings C who got a win last time out over Harlequins B this week play league leaders Castletown D who will be looking to keep their position at the top safe; Castletown E who got their first win of the season play Harlequins B who will want to get back to winning ways this weekend; Finally a close match looks set to be on the cards when Valkyrs C play Ramsey B with both sides coming into this game on the same form.
In men’s division two, Valkyrs C play Castletown in a game that will be close and Ramsey B welcome Bacchas D up north with both sides looking for a win it will make a good match.
Finally in the Under-15’s, Valkyrs play Ramsey Rogues & Rascals and Bacchas play Castletown Sabres.
