The Manx Hockey Association has announced the appointment of Neil Crowe as the new head coach of the Isle of Man men's national squad.
He succeeds Jon Whiting who'd held the post for the last nine years who and most recently lead the side to fourth place in the A Division of the 2023 England Hockey County Championships.
Speaking about his new role, Mr Crowe says he hopes to build upon the recent achievements of the team and is thanking Mr Whiting for his efforts in the post over the last few years.
Mr Crowe will take charge of his first match this weekend when the Isle of Man men's team face Timperley Men's 2nds in the England Hockey Men's Tier 2 Championships.
That fixture will take place at the NSC in Douglas this Saturday (28 October) at 1pm.
