Hockey: Manx player representing British Army indoor squad

A Manx hockey player is representing the British Army hockey squad this week.

Andy Vernon-Browne, formerly of the Bacchas Mens A team on Island, is in the 12-man Army team taking part in the UKAF Inter Services indoor hockey tournament 2021.

The tournament is in its final day today (4 November) having started on Tuesday this week (2 November) in Aldershot, Surrey.

After a 4-3 win over the RAF team, their final game will be against the Navy at 3.30pm this afternoon.
