Report by Ben Cunningham:
The men's and ladies' leagues all take a break this weekend as we see the first round of the men's and ladies' cup and plate take place instead.
Men's Cup:
Harlequins A play Valkyrs A - these two met in the opening weekend of league action and ended as a draw this game could yet again be another close match.
The winners of this game will play Vikings A in the semifinal.
The other tie in this cup sees Bacchas B play Bacchas A; Bacchas A will want to make sure they keep their hands on the trophy but could their B team give them a run for their money?
Castletown A await the winners of this clash.
Ladies' Cup:
Two very close games ahead in this competition - the first being Castletown B meeting Vikings A.
These two have already met this season and Vikings came out on top so Vikings will want to make sure they can repeat what they did in the league but have Castletown learnt from their mistakes and could they surprise Vikings on the day?
Valkyrs A will play the winners.
Finally, Bacchas A play Harlequins A - both these sides come into this match on good form making this a match that could be very close as they will both want to have a good cup run for sure.
Men's Plate:
Harlequins B play Vikings B - these two have met already and Vikings came away with a good victory but Harlequins will want to try and turn things around and come away with the result.
Castletown B play Ramsey B in a battle of the B teams this could be a close match both sides looking good so far.
A tasty clash looks on the cards as Valkyrs B meet Ramsey A with the northerners scoring plenty of goals so far can Valkyrs stop them?
Finally, a battle of the C teams as Castletown C play Vikings C - again another close match ahead.
Ladies' Plate:
Another club Derby ahead as Bacchas C play Bacchas B.
This will be a good friendly game but both sides will be going for it as they will want to get into the semifinal; the winner will play Castletown C.
Vikings B meet Ramsey A - these two have already met and it was an eight-goal thriller; will this game be like that again and go all the way to penalty flicks?
The winner will play Valkyrs B.
All matches must have a winner and if it is a draw at fulltime, they will go to penalty flicks.
The rearranged fixture is in ladies' division two and it's between Castletown D and Castletown E.
Under 15's:
Castletown Sabres play Valkyrs, Vikings play Bacchas and Harlequins meet Ramsey Rogues and Rascals.
