Report by Ben Cunningham:
Mens Prem
Harlequins A will be hoping they can give the defending champions Bacchas A a test when they meet each other this weekend, Vikings A who are still unbeaten this season play Bacchas B who are still looking for their first win of this campaign. Finally, a close match looks set to be on the cards when Castletown A play Valkyrs A.
Ladies Prem
A big clash is ahead this weekend as Bacchas A play Vikings A who remain unbeaten but Bacchas will be looking to end that run. Another team that are unbeaten so far are Valkyrs A who meet Harlequins A who are still looking for their first points. Finally, there is a Castletown derby between Castletown A and Castletown B which will be a good match between the two southern teams.
Mens Div One
Ramsey A play Vikings B in a match that will be very close, both these teams are ex-premiership teams and will both have eyes on getting back to the premiership this season. Valkyrs B who will also be pushing to in the promotion chase play Harlequins B who are still searching for points to kick off their season. Vikings C play Castletown B with both teams looking very evenly matched.
Ladies Div One
Vikings B play Castletown C - both teams have had a good start to the season and will not want to drop any points from this game. Another close match that’s also taking place in this league is between Valkyrs B and Bacchas B this game will be close and I think it could come down to just a goal that splits the two sides. Finally Bacchas C who are hoping to get some points this weekend play Ramsey A who come into this game following a good win last weekend.
Mens Div Two
Two very evenly matched games are ahead in this league this weekend as Ramsey B play Castletown C and Valkyrs C play Bacchas Colts, both these games will be end-to-end stuff and I can’t pick a winner out of both as they will be both be very close matches.
Ladies Div Two
Harlequins B who had a good win over Vikings C last weekend play Valkyrs C who also got a good win last weekend over Castletown E. Ramsey B play Vikings C this weekend after the northerners just narrowly lost out to Castletown D last weekend. The two southern sides Castletown D and Castletown E both meet each other this weekend.
