Bacchas A to face Castletown Celts at NSC this weekend

The 2025 mixed Manx hockey season will conclude with one remaining cup showdown this weekend.

The rearranged Mixed Cup final will see defending champions, Bacchas A face Castletown Celts at the NSC in Douglas at 12.30pm.

Having wrapped up the Mixed Premier League title last month, Bacchas will be out to win this piece of silverware for a third year running.

Furthermore, they're yet to taste defeat at all this campaign having won all ten of their matches on their way to scooping the league crown whilst scoring 65 goals in the process.

Elsewhere, Castletown Celts have had a checkered season in the top-flight this year.

The southern side finished fifth in the Mixed Premier League with four wins from their ten contests along with four defeats and two draws.

They picked up victories against Bacchas B and Vikings B on their route to this weekend's test.

The 2025 Mixed Cup final was moved to this weekend from Saturday, 13 December due to three Isle of Man senior national sides being involved in EH Championships competition six days ago.

The other two mixed cup competitions - the Mixed Bowl and Mixed Plate - did take place last weekend with Valkyrs B claiming the Mixed Plate and Vikings D winning the Mixed Bowl.
